- Contact messages. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you supply.
- Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe, we receive your email address and the date of your consent.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamp. These logs exist for security and reliability and are kept for a limited period.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Described in section 3 and in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are only set after you consent.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for and do not want financial account numbers, tax identification numbers, copies of tax documents, or any other sensitive personal or financial data. Please do not send them to us. If you do, we will delete them.

3. Cookies and advertising
No advertising is served on this site at present. The disclosures in this section apply if advertising is introduced: with your consent, third-party vendors — including Google — may then use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

4. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions, and only as needed to run the site:
- Hosting provider — serves the pages and keeps server logs.
- Analytics provider — measures aggregate traffic, only with your consent.
- Advertising partners — deliver and measure ads, only with your consent.
- Email provider — delivers the newsletter, only if you subscribed.
- Legal — where we are required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this happens for visitors in the UK or EEA, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep it
- Server logs: typically up to 30 days.
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after the last exchange.
- Newsletter records: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we don't email you again.
- Consent record: 6 months, then you'll be asked again.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, write to us using the details on the contact page. We respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA and you're unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Notice for California residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA you may request to know what personal information we have collected, request deletion or correction, and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Rejecting advertising cookies via our banner is an opt-out of sharing. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where our systems receive them, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
8. Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to any personal information to those who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, ask for your consent again.
