What to include
If you're reporting an error, please include the address of the page and a short description of what is wrong with it. That is usually enough for me to check it against the source and correct it the same week.
Please don't send tax identification numbers, account numbers, login details or copies of tax documents. I don't need them, I can't act on them, and I would only have to destroy them.
Privacy
Anything you send is used only to reply to you and is kept no longer than needed. The Privacy Policy sets out how correspondence is handled and what rights you have over it.
What I can't do
I can't answer questions about your own tax situation, review your return, or tell you whether something is deductible for you. I'm not qualified, and a wrong answer from a stranger on the internet is worse than no answer. For that, find a professional licensed where you live.
Corrections
If something here is factually wrong, send the page address and what's wrong with it. Corrections get made in the text with a dated note at the foot of the essay. See the Editorial Policy.
Response time
Usually within five working days. Formal copyright notices have their own requirements — see Copyright & DMCA.
